Pennsylvania Man Raped Child Under 9 Years Old: DA A Reading man was convicted on multiple charges including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child in a Lancaster County court this week, according to the District Attorney's Office.  Joel Villarreal, 44, was found guilty after one hour of jury deliberations, prosecutors said in a release.  Authorities said Villarreal abused a victim "on numerous occasions" between 2018 and 2020, when she was between 7 and 9 years old. Train Strikes Tractor Trailer In Chester County, Police Say Authorities responded to a railroad crossing in Oxford Borough on Wednesday, April 17 after a train crashed into a tractor-trailer, police said.  Officials said it happened at the Mount Pleasant Road crossing around 3:30 p.m. The road was closed between South Third and Grant streets for several hours while crews cleared the scene.  Oxford Police Department No injuries were reported, police added.

Man Killed In Crash Into Tree, Pennsylvania State Police The Topton man who died after crashing into a tree in Mertztown on Tuesday night, April 16 was Allan G. Levin, according to officials.  The Lehigh County Coroner's Office said Levin, 51, hit a tree on the 700 block of State Street around 10:30 p.m.  He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he died from multiple blunt force injuries about an hour later, the Coroner's Office said. His manner of death was accidental.  Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
