Three people were shot, including one fatally, amid a 200-person fight outside of a Trenton bar overnight, authorities said. Police were called to Regal 1 Lounge on N. Clinton Avenue around 2:10 a.m. Sunday, May 26, where they saw throngs of people fighting in the street, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. 4-Year-Old Boy Drowns In NJ Pool, Prosecutor Says
Police are investigating the drowning of a boy in a Central Jersey town over Memorial Day Weekend. The 4-year-old was found lifeless in a residential pool in North Brunswick around 7:45 p.m. Saturday, May 25, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and North Brunswick Police Chief Joseph Battaglia said. A Pennsylvania man has been charged in connection with a fatal high-speed crash in South Jersey, authorities said. Theresa Karbach, 69, of Cherry Hill, died as a result of injuries from the crash in Lawnside on May 13 at about 9:30 p.m., according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay. Sayreville Explosion Knocks Power To 4,300
An explosion in Sayreville injured one person and left some residents without power, police said. The explosion occurred about noon on Friday, May 24 near Main Street and Sayreville Boulevard, police said in a release. Sayreville police said a related fire was under control. Drag racers on Route 1 led to a crash in Edison that seriously injured two people on Thursday, May 23, authorities said.
