  • A charity softball game on Saturday, featuring teams of firefighters from Bedford, Katonah and Pound Ridge, turned out to be highly beneficial for the Westchester Burn Center in Valhalla. The games, which were played at Bedford Village Park in Bedford, raised more than $5,000 for victims suffering from burns incurred during fires in the area.

  • Susan Feinberg, the 59-year-old New Castle resident who was reported missing by New Castle Police Tuesday morning, was found dead in a New York City hotel room Tuesday afternoon, police said.
