To the editor:
I write in support of the candidacy of my law partner and good friend, Andrea Rendo, for the County Board of Legislators. Andrea and I met twelve years ago when we were both pregnant with our first children. Since we are both practicing attorneys with similar professional backgrounds, we immediately had a great deal in common. As our friendship grew so did our common desire to maintain our careers while being mothers. In 2003, we established our law firm, Wallach & Rendo, LLP.
Andrea is the best business partner and friend a person could desire. She is thoughtful, intelligent, and an excellent negotiator. She is a smart business woman who always takes the time to educate herself on any issue that may be new to her or unique to a situation. She is able to listen to and consider the position of others even when they may differ from her own while still remaining true to her beliefs.
Andrea has always been able to balance her life as an outstanding attorney, business owner, and loving and supportive mother. I am confident that, if elected, she will help to make the County Board of Legislators productive, well-reasoned and functional. She will protect the needs, rights, and concerns of her constituents just as she has done for her clients for almost two decades. I am proud to call Andrea my law partner and friend as I believe District 2 will be proud to call her their County Legislator.
