Pound Ridge Elementary PRIDE Classes Get Underway

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Pound Ridge Elementary School’s (PRES) PRIDE classes kicked off Monday afternoon.

PRIDE is the after-school enrichment program run by the PTA.  All classes are held at PRES.  Most classes run after the school day from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m.  Students go from their normal classrooms to their PRIDE classrooms under adult supervision and then are released to parents in the cafeteria at 4:30 p.m. A few classes run in the mornings before school.

This is a strong incentive for PRES parents to join the PTA. You must be a current PRES PTA member to participate in PRIDE. PTA membership forms are available at the PRES website. Go to and click on the “Flyers & Forms” section.
