Anne Constantinople and Christine Cuttler will be the recipients of the 2017 Adriance Honors at an event at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16 at the Locust Grove Estate in Poughkeepsie.

Constantinople served on the Board of Trustees of the Poughkeepsie Public Library District, representing the Town of Poughkeepsie, from 2004 to 2016. At one time or another, she served on all of the committees of the board. She served as Vice-President and then President of the board during the search for and construction of the Boardman Road branch library.

She initially moved to Poughkeepsie in 1967 to take a position as a faculty member in the Psychology Department at Vassar College.

Cuttler has been a member of the board for 18 years and has been the treasurer for the past 16 years. In that role, she applied for the board to obtain not-for-profit status, computerized the required formal financial books and records, and restructured the cashiering at the Annual and Holiday Sales. More recently, she set up the cashier operations for the Friends' Book Store.

Tickets for the Adriance Honors event are $60, and the deadline to purchase them is Friday, Oct.6. For more information, contact 845-485-3445x 3371.
