Lyman, a Republican, leads Ali Boak, a Democrat, 52 percent to 48 percent, 896 votes to 822 votes, with 100 percent of precincts reporting.
"Right now, I am trying to digest this," Lyman said. "I am very pleased that the voters looked at my record and deemed me worthy. I think they understood what I stand for."
Lyman said he was running for supervisor and not running a campaign against anyone. He said he needs a couple of days to decompress.
"I have a lot work to do," Lyman said. "Ali and I will be able to continue to work to meet the goals of the Town of Pound Ridge."
Boak and Lyman both serve on the Pound Ridge Town Board, Boak is in her first term. Lyman is in his third term.
Boak thanked her volunteers and congratulated Lyman on his victory.
"I am excited to continue to serve our town on the town board, " Boak said. "Congratulations to Dick Lyman whose service and experience will serve Pound Ridge well."
Democrat Daniel Paschkes and Republican Bonnie Schwartz prevailed in the race for town board, with 27 and 25 percent of the vote.
Democrat Sherene De Palma and Republican Peter Avellino trailed with 24 percent of the vote.
Boak and Lyman ran a heated campaign in the race for town supervisor, running to replace outgoing supervisor Gary David Warshauer.
Paschkes was running for re-election on the town board being joined by DePalma on the Democratic ticket. Schwartz and Avellino were running on the Republican ticket.
