Motorist Extricated After One-Car Crash In Pound Ridge

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Emergency responders extricated a motorist after an overnight crash in Pound Ridge, authorities said.

The one-car crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Lane and Pound Ridge Road, according to the Pound Ridge Volunteer Fire Department.

The Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Westchester EMS, who also responded, found the motorist still inside the vehicle with airbags deployed. 

Responders assisted EMS in removing the motorist from the vehicle and remained until the vehicle was removed by Sal's Servicenter in Cross River, the Pound Ridge Volunteer Fire Department said.
