POUND RIDGE, N.Y. - Ingrid D. Climis, a longtime resident of Pound Ridge, died April 18. She was 80.
Climis was born July 11, 1932, in Teaneck N.J. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Bedford for more than 46 years, serving as a liturgical and Eucharistic minister and as a member of the choir. She was a student of the Catholic Church and received her master’s degree in theology from Franciscan University in January 2013.
She was also a member of the Pound Ridge Lions Club, The Sons of Norway and The Cursillo Community.
Climis is survived by her children, Melanie Climis of West Virginia, Kevin of S.D., Buzz (Karen) of Connecticut and Alyson (Gary) Bolton of Pound Ridge; and 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives in the U.S., Norway and Germany. She was predeceased by her husband, Ted E. Climis; and her sister, Peg Russell.
Calling hours are Wednesday, April 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Clark Associates Funeral Home , 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 25, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Bedford. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
