A stretch of South Bedford Road (Route 172) near I-684 has reopened after an accident Wednesday afternoon.
The eastbound side of 172 was closed and there was intermittent traffic moving through the westbound side following the crash, according to Bedford Police.
The accident was reported around 2 p.m., and the roadway reopened by 2:30 p.m.
