Learn About Genealogy In Pound Ridge Library Course

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- For its twelfth series of DVD college-level seminars, the Pound Ridge Library is presenting “Discovering Your Roots: An Introduction to Genealogy."

The genealogy series will be given by professor John Philip Colletta of Boston University Genealogical Research Program on June 18, July 2, 9 and 16 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the library's Schaffner Room. Group discussions will follow each lecture. 

The series of seminars comes from The Teaching Company/Great Courses and covers subjects such as history, religion, linguistics, science, art and more. Light refreshments will be served.
