Pound Ridge Copes With First Snowfall of Season

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Snow continued to fall on Pound Ridge Saturday with the National Weather Service predicting three to six inches by late afternoon. However, Pound Ridge Police reported no major issues.

“The highway department has been getting through it and it’s been pretty quiet and uneventful,” said Officer Gary Olivier. “It’s still a bit slippery out so people should stay off the roads.”

New York State Electric and Gas had not reported any power outages by midday Saturday.
