Byram Hills Baseball Team Continues Strong Play With Win Over Pelham

PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Byram Hills High baseball team continued its hot play Thursday on the road, posting a 15-5 victory over Pelham in a game played at Glover Field.

Greg Giuliani picked up the win on the mound for Byram Hills, which improved to 14-4.

"We're trying to peak before the playoffs," Bobcats coach Scott Saunders said. "We have two games left, and we have a chance to win the league title."

Byram Hills needs to beat Rye twice next week to win that title.

John Spadafino went 3-for-3 with four RBI for Byram Hills, and Frank Vesuvio homered and went 2-for-2.

Chas Del Grosso took the loss on the mound for Pelham, which fell to 4-13.
