Cohn and Harvey teammate Robert Van Raamsdonk have been named to the North Squad in the Class C/D match Sunday that begins at 11 a.m.

Harvey soccer coach Alex Morse said, “The recognition the league is giving Cohn and Van Raamsdonk is well deserved, and especially for Jake who has represented Harvey so well for four years.”

Two other Harvey School athletes, juniors Marshall Euchner of Waccabuc and Matanel Cohen-Weinberg of Cross River, have qualified to run in this Sunday’s New England Prep School Track Association (NEPSTA) cross-country 5k meet at Marianapolis Preparatory School in Thompson, Conn.

Euchner and Cohen-Weinberg will team up with junior captain Sam Mackiewicz and compete in the 3.2 mile run that starts at 2:15 p.m.

Harvey cross country coach Mike Lauria said being selected for Sunday’s race means a lot to his runners. “I’ve never seen harder working runners in my entire coaching career,'' he said. "I’m glad they will get to experience it together. I hope they savor the moment. They should. They deserve to.”
