The incumbent board members running are Vice President Jeffrey Holbrook, Trustee Peter Treyz and Trustee Richard Stone, according to the district. The challenger is Julia Hadlock.

Under the school district's at-large system for elections, the top-three vote earners will win the seats. Because more than three people are running for three seats, this means that the election cycle is contested.

The election date is Tuesday, May 17. Poll are scheduled to be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Polling places will be held at the district's three elementary schools. As a result, residents seeking to vote in person must go to the school that their homes are zoned for.

The school board is made up of seven members who serve in staggered, 3-year terms. The three seats up for election this year have terms that start on July 1 and expire on June 30, 2019.

Daily Voice will have further coverage on the four contenders.
