Pound Ridge Students Make Collegiate News

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Pound Ridge residents Justin M. Raffaeli and Dixon P. Weld were among the 548 students awarded degrees at St. Lawrence University's commencement ceremony held last week on the campus in Canton.

Raffaeli was awarded a degree in Asian studies-government and history. He is a graduate of the Kent School. Weld graduated cum laude with a degree in history. He graduated from Blair Academy.

St. Lawrence University is a private independent liberal arts institution of 2,300 students.

Renna Gottlieb of Pound Ridge, a member of the class of 2015 at Connecticut College, was named to the school’s Dean's Honors list for the 2012 spring semester.

At Connecticut College, Dean's Honors is a recognition for students who have earned a grade point average of at least 3.66, and Dean's High Honors is a recognition for students who have earned a grade point average of at least 3.78. Connecticut College is a private liberal arts college with 1,900 students.
