Pound Ridge Elementary School Hosts Community Read Day

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Seventeen community members visited Pound Ridge Elementary School recently to participate in the school’s annual Community Read Day.

The adult visitors read to children in their classrooms on Friday, May 15, according to a press release.

Visitors included Town Supervisor Richard Lyman, Bedford Central School District Superintendent Jere Hochman, Town Parks and Recreation Department Superintendent Dave Goldberg, Ward Pound Ridge Reservation Naturalist Jason Klein, and Billy Fortin from Scott’s Corner Market.
