POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – The following Pound Ridge students have received collegiate accolades ranging from merit scholarships to Dean’s List honors:
Andrew J. Tilley was awarded a $17,600 Presidential Scholarship by the State University of New York at Oswego. The award recognizes past academic achievement and potential for success. Tilley, a graduate of the Montfort Academy, has reserved a place in the incoming freshman class for the fall semester.
Sarah Best and Kyra Fritz were named to the Dean’s List at the State University of New York at New Paltz for last semester. Best is a sociology major and Fritz majors in adolescence education – English. Dean's List designation is reserved for students who earn at least a 3.3 grade point average in a semester with a full-time course load.
