Pace University Presents Hoops For Troops In Need Of Food, Winter Clothing

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Hoops For Troops, a food and coat drive and basketball clinic with New York Knicks legends, comes to Pace University's Manhattan campus on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will be held at 1 Pace Plaza on the Gymnasium Level C.

This event calls for a collection of food and winter garments for U.S. Veterans who are in need or are homeless. 

Shooting games and contests will offer prizes to winners and raffles to Knicks games will be available. 

It will feature special introductions and a basketball clinic with New York Knick legends. The Knicks City Dancers will also make a special appearance. Those donating to this cause will receive a “Meet and Greet” with Knicks legends (including an autograph and picture) as well as a t-shirt.

A DJ will provide music and free giveaways. Light refreshments will be served.
