Since being elected to the Bedford Central School Board in 2013, Ed Reder has demonstrated a commitment to public education and maintaining BCSD’s tradition of excellence. He has shown that he is not satisfied with the status quo and that he is prepared to ask difficult questions to ensure that the administration and his colleagues on the Board continue putting students first, even as the district navigates challenging financial times. Ed has been a champion for students and has consistently looked for ways to rebuild student programs in the elementary schools, the middle school, and the high school. Ed understands that fiscal stability and excellent opportunities for all students are not mutually exclusive. Through thorough and strategic planning, I am confident that BCSD can continue on its current path toward fiscal stability while also adding back critical student programs. Ed Reder has demonstrated that he is committed to that type of strategic planning, which is why he has my support for BCSD school board on May 16th.

For all of these reasons, I will be voting for Ed Reder on May 16th and I urge all BCSD residents to do the same.
