The Fox Lane team ranked first among 10 Westchester County teams at the Hudson Valley Regional Envirothon in April.
“Congratulations to Coach Frisch and the Fox Lane High School team on a tremendous accomplishment,” Astorino said. “Representing all of Westchester in the New York State competition, they have already made us proud.”
The Envirothon is a quiz-based competition that tests teams of five students on their knowledge of soil, aquatics, forestry, wildlife, and current environmental issues. The competition develops research skills, practice team building, and learn an appreciation for consensus decision making.
