"A big shout out to the Aviation Crew of the Westchester County Police Department who impeccably landed their helicopter at both schools . . . and provided an excellent demonstration of what they do to protect and serve our community," Noble said. "The students at both schools met countless law enforcement personnel from Yorktown PD, as well officers from our county, state and federal law enforcement partners."

Noble said, "This was all done in a very relaxed atmosphere where questions were always encouraged and answered to the best of our ability. While we hope they learned from us, we know we got to know them a bit better, making friendships along the way."

School Resource Officers Robert Doerr from Yorktown and Larry Paniccia from Lakeland reportedly did an outstanding job coordinating the law enforcement clubs during the school year.

Noble thanked Yorktown Central School District Superintendent Dr. Ron Hattar and Lakeland Central School District Superintendent Dr. George Stone for their support.

The police chief also thanked Yorktown High School Principal Joe DeGennaro and Lakeland High School Principal Chris Cummings for their generous hospitality and support throughout the year.

"Best of luck to our graduating law enforcement club high school seniors! To our returning club members, we look forward to seeing you next year. Remember, you’re never too young or too old to make good, healthy decisions. Be safe," Noble said.
