BEDFORD, N.Y. The Bedford School District will mark March as Music in Our Schools Month with a series of concerts.
More than 800 students will be showcased in performances throughout the month. The shows are free and open to the public. The performance schedule is as follows:
- March 1: District String Festival for all string students in grades three through 12 will be at Fox Lane High School gym at 7 p.m.
- March 20: Bandtastic also known as the District Band Festival will feature the district band, seventh-grade band and high school concert band, at Fox Lane High Theater at 7 p.m.
- March 27: District Choral Festival will feature the district chorus, eighth-grade chorus and high school festival chorus at Fox Lane High Theater at 7 p.m.
- March 29: High School Mid-Winter Band and Orchestra Concert features the symphonic orchestra and symphonic band at Fox Lane High School Theater at 7 p.m.
