Scarsdale Library Workshop Focuses On Handling Child's Stress

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Caren Baruch-Feldman will continue her series on handling stress and developing a positive attitude with her latest workshop “Helping Children and Teens with Worry and Stress” at the Scarsdale Public Library on Tuesday, June 7.

Participants will learn both thinking and behavioral strategies to address stress and worry and to help their children. Special emphasis will be on seeing the “upside of stress” and developing a “growth-mindset.” 

Baruch-Feldman is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist. She has a private practice in Scarsdale and works part-time as a school psychologist in Westchester. 

She focuses on cognitive behavioral therapy for children and adults and psycho-educational evaluations. She has authored numerous articles, led various workshops and trained hundreds of teachers, administrators and healthcare professionals.

Baruch-Feldman is a graduate of Barnard College and received her doctorate in clinical-child psychology and a school psychology certificate from St. John’s University.
