According to the Westchester County Board of Elections, Pound Ridge has 85 uncounted absentee ballots. That number far exceeds the 29-vote lead that Democratic candidate Sherene De Palma has over Republican David Dow.

The number was provided to Daily Voice in response to a request.

Unofficial results from the Board of Elections currently show De Palma with 921 votes (51 percent) to Dow's 892 (49 percent). All four of the town's election districts have reported in.

Nardara Ford, an official with the Board of Elections, said there is a countywide impoundment of ballots until the count is completed.
