“Our city, from the City Council to residents, is evaluating economic development reforms that could greatly improve the Queen City," Rackman said in a statement. "As a New Rochelle councilwoman, I have been very involved in this process and look forward to the productive involvement of all of our residents, so that together we can enjoy a thriving and economically vibrant downtown.”
Rackman has lived in New Rochelle for over 34 years, raising a family and running her own business and law practice in Westchester.
As an attorney, Rackman specializes in family law and mediation. She was recently honored with a New York State Bar Association Award of merit in recognition of her legal advocacy for women.
