To the Editor:
Having worked with Kevin Hansan over the past twelve years, I can attest to the fact he is an incredibly creative manager, who has dedicated a great portion of his career to designing innovative programs that have moved some of our most important government services into the 21st century.
The Westchester County Clerk's office was chugging away in 2006 using 1980's technology, while processing mountains of legal and land records paper, slowing filing time to a crawl and jeopardizing the security of our most precious documents. Kevin designed a program which not only cleared the backups in record time but also contracted with eDocsNY, an organization that employed the developmentally disabled serving an even higher purpose. Not only did it employ those in need, it brought security and speed, saving the taxpayers millions of dollars.
Kevin Hansan will bring this knowledge of government, management and interpersonal skills to the important position of Town Supervisor. I hope all in Pound Ridge can support him on Election Day.
