We have lived and raised our family in Pound Ridge for nearly 40 years. We’ve seen many changes here. Its more environmentally friendly now, and it’s filled with more young families who utilize the town’s resources more than when me migrated from N.Y.C. Yet the town remains charmingly quaint.

Pound Ridge protects its bucolic nature, its privacy. It values its unpretentious citizens, and encourages the kindness and helpfulness of the people who live and work here.

Dick Lyman is one of those people.

Dick is town born, raised his family here and has dedicated much of his life to making certain that the town retains its integrity while still meeting the needs of the 21st century. Dick has worked in local government for over 30 years. He knows its idiosyncrasies, its infrastructure and he has the temperament to make sure that compromise is a key ingredient to meet his constituents’ priorities. He knows the people of Pound Ridge. He knows its potential and its realities. He’s a pragmatic, hands on problem solver. He knows that a thriving town matches its citizens’ needs with its business community, the security of its children and residents with its civic responsibilities and the accountability of its elected leaders.

Dick has enabled our town to maintain its pristine environment with safety and security where our children can grow, happy, healthy with respect for nature and community.

Dick is a dedicated public servant with great leadership skills.

With the current state of chaos and confrontation nationally and globally, I believe that making Pound Ridge more red or blue would not be in our town’s best interests. Actually, I think we should preserve and protect the present color of our cherished little town, the color green, and elect Dick Lyman, Town Supervisor to keep it that way.
