CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – Chappaqua resident Hillary Clinton may have a new challenger in the 2016 Democratic presidential race, as the New York Times reports that Vice President Joe Biden is considering a possible run.

A presidential run for his father was one of Biden's son Beau's last wishes before he died in May, and the elder Biden has begun gauging interest from traditional Democratic support, the Times reports.

Biden's chief of staff Steve Richetti was in the process of reaching out to Democratic donors who have not yet endorsed Clinton, according to the Times.
