Police Release Photo Of Suspected Pound Ridge Credit Card Thief

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford police are looking to identify a suspect who used a stolen credit card out of Pound Ridge, N.Y., at a gas station in the city earlier this month, police said.

The victim's credit card was stolen May 13, police said. Early on May 14, the card was used twice at Global Gas at 1199 High Ridge Road in Stamford, police said in a statement. Surveillance cameras captured photos of the suspect, who appears to be a white or Hispanic male with facial hair driving a red double cab truck, possibly a Chevy, police said.

The employees at the gas station recognized the suspect as a frequent customer who usually arrives in the early morning hours, the statement said. They also told police the truck he drives may belong to his boss, the statement said.
