Pound Ridge Cops Charge Man With Unlicensed Driving

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Pound Ridge police arrested a Bridgeport, Conn., man Friday, Dec. 14, and charged him with driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor.

During a routine traffic stop on Westchester Avenue, police said a DMV check revealed that the driver’s New York State driving privileges had been suspended. Officers then arrested Rodney Fludd, 41, and charged him with third-degree aggravated unauthorized operation of a motor vehicle.

He was processed at police headquarters where he also was issued a summons for unauthorized colored lights on a vehicle.

Fludd was released on $100 bail and is due back in court on Jan. 7.

The following items were also reported by the Pound Ridge police:

  • On Wednesday, Dec. 12, police issued an arrest warrant to a resident on West Road. The resident had been arrested previously but did not show up for court.
  • On Saturday, Dec. 15, police responded to a car/deer accident on Long Ridge Road. No injuries were reported and no tow was necessary. The deer was dispatched and removed from the highway.
  • Police were called to a home on Lower Trinity Pass for a reported burglary. The incident is still under investigation and no further information was released.
