New Canaan Woman Charged In Disturbance At Westport Home

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A New Canaan woman was charged with disorderly conduct Friday when police responded to a disturbance at a Short Street address in Westport, according to police.

When officers arrived at 11:30 p.m. they could hear arguing coming from inside the residence, police said.

The officers determined that Jaqueline Anderson, 52, and the victim had an argument that escalated to Anderson throwing items around the home, according to police.

She was taken into custody and charged, police said.

Anderson was able to post bond of $1,000 and was due to appear in court Monday, Feb. 14, according to police.
