Members quickly assembled and responded with Assistant Chief Justine Brent first on the scene who found the car on its side with the driver unable to get out, said Capt. Sam Dodge.

Chief Edward Trail arrived seconds after and began stabilizing the car. Once stabilized the windshield was cut for patient access and a partial removal of the roof was performed, he added.

The patient was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital by Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Westchester EMS with unknown injuries, fire officials said.

Members came back to the firehouse and finished setting up for this morning event which turned into a huge success with more than 160 residents showing up for the breakfast.
