On Wednesday, troopers were dispatched to Kohl’s on Main Street in Cortlandt following reports of a suspicious man who was taking photos of a female patron.
According to a loss prevention agent, 36-year-old Jeremiah Jones of Peekskill was caught taking photos of a female customer who was wearing a skirt as she bent over to pick up an item on the floor, according to state police. Police said that Jones was identified and located later that day following a brief investigation
Jones was arrested and charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance, a felony. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court on Thursday, May 25.
