Fire Destroys Garage In Pound Ridge

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – A garage was destroyed in a Thursday morning fire in Pound Ridge, according to News 12.

Pound Ridge firefighters had to call in extra help for a Thursday morning fire that destroyed an apartment and garage on Stone Hill Road.

Firefighters were called to a Stone Hill Road property about 8 a.m. and spent around 2 1/2 hours battling the blaze, News 12 said.

The fire was so bad that three other departments and 75 firefighters were called in, reported News 12.

No one was injured, but a firefighter was treated for exhaustion, News 12 noted.
