Elementary School In Northern Westchester Closes Following Gas Leak

Crompond Elementary School in Yorktown Heights was closed Monday morning after firefighters turned off a propane tank that was leaking, Yorktown Police said.

Students were sent home and no injuries were reported. School officials said the problem was caused by a faulty connection on a propane tank outside the school, according to News12.
