Letter: Maggie May's Says Pound Ridge Made Fundraiser A Success

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. — The Pound Ridge Daily Voice accepts signed, original letters to the editor. To submit your letter, e-mail poundridge@dailyvoice.com.

To the Editor:

Maggie May's Frozen Yogurt & Ice Cream in Pound Ridge held a fundraiser for the Fox Lane High School Women's Swim and Dive Team on Aug. 26. The fundraising consisted of a car wash behind the Pound Ridge fire station and a bake sale with treats all baked by the young ladies from the team. Discount coupons from Maggie May's were part of the fund-raising as well.

On behalf of Maggie May's and the FLHS Women's Swim and Dive Team, we would like to thank the Pound Ridge Fire Department for allowing the car wash to take place behind the station, and most of all we thank the community at large and everyone who stopped to help make this fundraiser a huge success. At the end of the day, the team had exceeded it expectations by raising twice the amount that it had hoped for, making its first fundraiser of the season a tremendous success.
