Thomas Geser, 88, Formerly Of Pound Ridge

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Thomas C. Geser, 88, died Thursday, Oct. 8 in Fort Myers, Fla.

Formerly of Pound Ridge, he was born in 1927 in Buffalo, the son of Elmer (Joe) and Eloise Geser. 

He married Ida Ruth (Lee) LeRay in White Plains in 1950. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed with the signal corps in Fort Monmouth, N.J. Before retiring, he was an electronics engineer. He was active in Pound Ridge, where he was one of the founding members of the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps and past president of the local chapter of Lions Club International.

He and his wife had five children: Nancy (Francis Lawton), Linda, Donna (Robert Lawrence), Susan (Greg Anderson) and Thomas Joseph. He also had 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.
