POUND RIDGE, N.Y. - Margaret F. Jacoby of Pound Ridge died Sunday, Sept. 22. She was 84.
Jacoby was born May 10, 1929, in Port Chester, daughter of Philomena and Peter Fanella of Harrison. She was a resident of Pound Ridge for over 50 years. She was a member of the Pound Ridge Community Church for more than 40 years and served on the Board of Trustees for over 10. She was a member in The Pound Ridge Garden Club, heading many civic improvement projects that aided in the beautification of Pound Ridge.
Jacoby is survived by her husband, Victor Jacoby; children, Karen (Jeffrey) Aarts of Pound Ridge, Susan (Kevin) Marks of Darien and Jack Jacoby of Groton; four grandchildren and many extended family members. She was predeceased by her parents.
A service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the Pound Ridge Community Church. She was laid to rest at the Pound Ridge Cemetery.
