POUND RIDGE, N.Y. - Ilona Suhajda Cariello of Pound Ridge died Oct. 8. She was 92.
Cariello was born March 5, 1921, to George Suhajda and Ilona Sajben and raised in Bekescsaba, Hungary by her grandparents, the Sajben's. She came to New York in 1939. After her marriage she moved from Aberdee, New Jersey to Pound Ridge in 1969.
Cariello was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Ralph Mario Cariello.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Bedford. Burial to follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Mt. Kisco.
