Mrs. Nappi was born May 19, 1948 in Mount Kisco, the daughter of William Austin and Genevieve Conner. She was the first of three children.

She is survived by her ex-husband, Michael Nappi; four children, Michael Nappi Jr. (Courtney Nappi) Bryan Matthew Nappi, Melissa Anne Nappi (Nelson Ortiz) and Jason William Castillo (Samantha Martinez); four grandchildren, Justin Ortiz , Mason Castillo, Gianna Nappi and Amayah Castillo; siblings, Denise Austin-Johnson (Lewis Johnson) and William Austin (Lorraine Austin); several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was employed at Mount Kisco Childcare Center for 12 years touching the lives of so many beautiful children and their families. She was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church of Mount Kisco and The Master Vineyard Church of Ossining.

Mrs. Nappi will always be remembered for her huge smile, her contagious laugh her positivity, her generosity, her healing hands, her warm heart, her wise words and her unconditional love for everyone in her life.

Her love for crocheting was the gift that kept giving and has left so many of us with blankets to wrap us with her warm loving arms.

"I want everyone to remember her laughing and dancing," said her daughter, Melissa.

Services will be held at Cassidy and Flynn on Sunday, March 26, from 4 to 8 p.m.

A celebration of life is on Monday, March 27 at the One Barker Terrace community room. Food, laughs and memories.
