POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Christopher C. Dewey, 28, of Pound Ridge, died Dec. 22.
Born in New York City, Dewey was educated at Saint Patrick's Elementary School and Fox Lane High School. He was the swim coach at Westchester Aquatics Club in New Rochelle. He also was the coach for the boys' swim team at Rye High School, summer league coach for Parchment Shore Club and Westchester Hills Country Club and the pool director and head coach at Pound Ridge Town Pool.
He is survived by his parents Carlene Fierro and Stephen Dewey; maternal grandparents Charles Fierro and Dorothy Forrest; sister Tricia Dewey; brother William Fierro Joyce; best friend Eric Wilts, and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his sister Michelle Dewey and paternal grandparents Robert and Martha Dewey.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Craft Memorial Home Inc. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at Corpus Christi Church 136 S. Regent St., Port Chester. Interment to follow at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA or to the Ronald McDonald House.
