Audrey Fahan, 80, Pound Ridge Native

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Audrey Bouton Fahan, a Pound Ridge native, died Sept. 24, with her husband by her side. She was 80.

She was born Jan. 1, 1932, to Clarence and Helen Bouton. Raised in Pound Ridge, Fahan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, bird watching and attending to her garden. She was a former member of the Springdale Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary in Stamford, Conn., where she was most recently from. 

Fahan is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Fahan; five children, Kenneth F. Fahan Jr., Michael (Jeanne) Fahan, Sharon (Joe) Vartuli, Lisa O'Connor and Shawn Fahan; a sister, Jean Bouton, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and 11 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence, of Pound Ridge. 

Services and calling hours will be private. Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home in Stamford is handling arrangements.
