What's Open/Closed In Pound Ridge On Columbus Day

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Several places around Pound Ridge will be closed or operating on a different schedule for Columbus Day. Here's what you need to know before heading out Monday.

Trains will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Columbus Day.

What's closed:

All local, state and federal government as well as other municipal buildings.
All Bedford Central School District schools.
The Pound Ridge Library
The Pound Ridge Post Office
Most banks (call ahead to see if your bank is open)

What's open: Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, liquor stores and other retail locations are open. However, these places may be operating on special holiday hours. It’s a good idea to call ahead before heading out to any of these establishments.

Trains: Metro-North will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
