At approximately noon on Monday, June 12, members of the Bedford Hills Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to Guard Hill Road, where there was a report of a vehicle rollover.

Upon arrival, first responders reported that there was one occupant’s leg pinned under the vehicle. According to officials, “the SUV rolled over onto the driver’s side and off the roadway, leaving it very unstable.”

With an assist from members of the Bedford Police Department, firefighters were able to assist all occupants out of the vehicle, securing the SUV by attaching the front bumper winch to the frame of a firetruck.

Once all occupants were out of the vehicle, members of the Bedford Hills Fire Department helped control traffic while the passengers received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Once the vehicle was removed from the scene, all agencies cleared the scene and turned it over to police.
