Pound Ridgers Brave Heat for Memorial Day Parade

Westchester Avenue in Pound Ridge shimmered in the Monday heat as parade-goers fanned themselves waiting for the Memorial Day parade to wind its way south down the hill and past the Town Park, but everyone jumped up and cheered as the long line of police officers, Girl Scouts a pipe band, and fire fighters and their equipment finally arrived.
