Pound Ridge Slates Senior Events for July

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – The Pound Ridge Recreation Department’s Neighbor to Neighbor program for senior citizens has scheduled several events for July.

Take the N2N van for a trip around town to various tag sales on Friday, July 8 at 10 a.m. The van leaves from the Town House. If you purchase large items you will need to arrange your transportation for them. Register by July 5.

The Pound Ridge Annual N2N Picnic will be held Friday, July 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Pound Ridge Town Park. There will be live music and dancing. Hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, beverages and ice cream will be served. Due to the large number of seniors expected, the town will not be able to accommodate family members for this event. RSVP by July 9.

The Pound Ridge Garden Club will hold a summer luncheon for seniors on Friday, July 22 at noon at Conant Hall. It is limited to 16 people so register early. Lunch and arrangements will feature the many uses of herbs.
