Pound Ridge Recycling Center Opening For E-Waste

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Pound Ridge residents will now be able to dispose of their e-waste locally and responsibly.

Starting Wednesday, the Pound Ridge Recycling Center at 290 Stone Hill Road will take on all electronic waste. The Center’s hours are Wednesday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon.

Items that will be accepted include computers, monitors and TVs (glass cannot be broken), printers, copiers, keyboards, speakers, routers, phones (residential and cell) PDAs, cameras, VCRs and

The Recycling Center cannot accept light bulbs of any kind.

Pound Ridge residents should be very proud of our wonderful recycling station. It is convenient, easy to use and actually attractive. Ever helpful, Bill Schelling, the manager, makes every visit pleasant. Everyone should join the move to green by bringing their recyclables to the center.
