Pound Ridge Recreation Offers Teen Travel Camp

The Pound Ridge Recreation Department is introducing a new Teen Travel Camp this year for kids between the ages of 13 to 15.

The camp will run June 28 through August 4 as a six-week program. The hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Teens will travel Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and the trips will focus on 18 destinations throughout the tri-state area, including Grand Prix in Mt. Kisco, Lake Compounce in Bristol, Conn., Six Flags in Agawam, Mass., Medieval Times in Lyndhurst, N.J. and the Intrepid Museum and Ripley’s Believe or Not in New York City. The camp directors are Jill Tatarzewski and Chris Vazzano.

The cost is $1,300 and includes transportation, destination charges and most meals.
