Pound Ridge Man Charged in Wine Store Burglary

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – New York State Police arrested a Pound Ridge man Friday morning and charged him with third degree burglary.

Investigator James Stirpe said Zachary Levine, 21, of Pound Ridge, broke into Pound Ridge Wines & Spirits in Scott’s Corners sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Stirpe said he couldn’t disclose further details about the crime or what led to Levine’s arrest at this time because the investigation is still ongoing and more charges could be added.

“More charges are pending from the [Westchester County] D.A.’s office,” he said. “We are still sorting things out.”

The Pound Ridge Police Department assisted in the investigation.
